Sonya
Naumov completed a Master of Design degree in 2001 specialising in wildlife
illustration through the University of Newcastle, Australia, and was
the first to do so in Australia. Sonya's research explored how digital
technology, including the Internet and 3d computer illustration, could
be utilised as a tool in wildlife illustration and as a means of dissemination
of these images. A major part of the study was in digital applications
to scientific illustration. It is through these studies that Sonya became
interested in Web design and 3d imaging and the possibilities of using
the web to communicate environmental concerns to the public as well
and helping people with their health and well-being, including golfers.
