Fiji's 2003 New Year Eve Street Party

Light Design Australia welcomed in the new year 2003 in spectacular and groundbreaking style in Suva, Fiji. Light Design Australia was the first to bring a laser show to the South Pacific island nation of Fiji and in return was welcomed with record-breaking crowds as well as the famous Fijian warm hospitality.

 
This huge celebration of the coming of the new year was celebrated in true Fijian fashion in the form of a massive street party in the city streets of Suva, the capital of Fiji and was hosted by the local radio stations. The night started with a 9pm show for the kids with a tropical themed colourful animated laser show, which set the mood for the party mood.

At midnight the Yag Laser counted down the new year to a fantastic beam show finale that wowed the crowds into a dance frenzy and illuminated the sky, buildings, palm trees and even the tropical rain!
